"Also they teach that men cannot be justified before God by their own strength, merits, or works, but are freely justified for Christ's sake, through faith, when they believe that they are received into favor, and that their sins are forgiven for Christ's sake, who, by His death, has made satisfaction for our sins. This faith God imputes for righteousness in His sight. Rom. 3 and 4."  (Augsburg Confeesion, Article Four)

About Us

At the center of our life together is the Divine Service of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.  By His life, suffering, death and resurrection, we have forgiveness of sins through faith in his name.  And this faith is only created and nourished through the Word.

Through faithful, careful, and thorough teaching of God's Word, we minister to sinners, which means all people.  The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  And this is why Jesus has commanded his ministers to proclaim repentance and forgiveness of sins in his name to all people (Luke 24:47).  Our hope is that all may experience the fullness of new life in Christ and the certainty of going to heaven when they die.

Today, the church has seemed to be put in the background of many people's lives.  This is a sad and frightening situation because there are many who will never realize the love Jesus Christ has for them, and their eternal life is in jeopardy.

God has chosen His church as the place where He delivers His gifts of life and salvation and if you are not there to receive them you are in a perilous position.

Whether you have never been to church, or you have fallen away from church, our members of St. Paul and Trinity welcome you to hear and learn God's Word with us, to learn to repent of our sins, take refuge in the forgiveness of sins given to us through the Word of Christ, and grow in true knowledge of our Savior.

It is our fervent prayer that the Holy Spirit would work through his Word to give you a confident faith and a bold confession of Jesus Christ, our Lord!
